Description
Still biodynamic red Saint Joseph AOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by M. Chapoutier. 100% Syrah, 2019 vintage. A wine that reflects the philosophy of M. Chapoutier, a producer who has always been committed to enhancing the terroir and respecting nature. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in a small 30 HL concrete vat with a long maceration of about 5 weeks. Aged entirely in barrique for about 20 months (25% new barriques). Dark garnet black with purple reflections. Beautiful notes of dark fruit (cherry, blackberry), nice minerality with notes of graphite. Soft, rich, and elegant on the palate. Very fine and silky tannins. Persistent finish and aromatic notes reminiscent of the granite terroir.
