Description
Still white wine from Liguria, 13% ABV, produced by Lunae Bosoni. 100% Albarola. 0.75 L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine made from the native Albarola grape, historically used in blends as it contributed to the wine's harmony, giving it freshness and a pleasant drinkability. Cold maceration on the skins for approximately 8 hours, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. Aged on the fine lees in stainless steel for approximately 5 months. Layered aromatic profile: it opens with green and tropical notes of pineapple and lime peel, continuing with balsamic and white floral aromas. Pale yellow with green highlights. On the palate, the acidity is well supported by a roundness derived from the lees aging. The finish is medium-length and persistent, with hints of lime zest enhancing the aftertaste.

Cantine Lunae deepen their roots in the millenary hystory of this land and people, whose great vine-growing and wine-making tradition have inherited. Etruscans, or perhaps Ligures and then Romans, were the first to grow vineyards in the surroundings of the beautiful Luni, the "Moon City".
These lands have given birth to our vineyards, to our passion, to our wine!

| Production technique | This wine comes from the vinification of the native albarola grape variety. A grape variety historically used in blends, as it contributed to the wine's harmony, giving it freshness and pleasantness. It was rarely vinified as a single variety due to its particular characteristics. The albarola has a very compact bunch and must be grown in cool environments, on hills with good exposure and ventilation, which lower its humidity. After years of research in the vineyard and in the cellar, aimed at identifying the most suitable soils and vinification methods, our pure Albarola was born, with the intention of demonstrating the great qualitative potential of this grape variety. |
