The Domaine Leclerc was born in 1872 in Cumieres by Lucien Leclerc, then in 1955 the family estate is transformed into "Maison" and Louis-Bertrand Leclerc joins her the name of his wife Jacqueline Briant creating precisely the Maison Leclerc Briant with a new office in Epernay. The son Pascal subsequently continued the way of the father to Bio applying experimentation, for 30 hectares of land, agriculture Biodynamic since 1964!
In 2010, Leclerc Briant is the largest producer of biodynamic Champagne and the first, in 1994, to propose Champagne from a single vineyard, the "Lieux-dits". Unfortunately, Pascal fails prematurely in 2010 and Maison begins a period of uncertainty that led her to sell about 75% of its wine heritage, up to the purchase in 2012 by a pair of American fans. The idea is not to revolutionize, but to revive it, then hand over the management of the House, and the remaining 7 hectares Frédéric Zeimett accompanied by the eldest daughter of Pascal: Ségolène Leclerc. Today, the Domaine is certified biodynamic with a production of about 200,000 bottles, undoubtedly interesting Champagne that deserve to be discovered.
