Description
Still red wine from Tuscany IGT Sassontino, 14.5% ABV, produced by La Spinetta. 0.75-liter bottle, 2007 vintage. A wine born from the Rivetti family's passion for Sangiovese, grown in Tuscany with the same care and dedication that characterizes their Piedmontese wines. Alcoholic fermentation in rotofermenters for 6-8 days at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation in wood. Aged in medium-toasted French oak barrels for 12-14 months. Hints of cherry, flowers, mint, and spices. Intense ruby red color. Aromatic complexity and concentration blend elegantly with fruit and tannins. Long finish.
