Description
Still white wine from Burgundy, 12% ABV, produced by Joseph Lafarge. 100% Chardonnay, 2022 vintage. A Macon-Lugny that embodies the elegance and tradition of Burgundy. Notes of tropical fruit on the nose, accompanied by vanilla notes, paving the way for a structured and creamy palate. Bright golden yellow, this wine pairs perfectly with fish and white meat dishes.

Multiple documents testify that the locations were not replanted with woods and became a clearing on the plateau on top of Lugny. Moreover, a paper from 1778 confirms that the place does still belong to the Lugny's lords, the son of the one that sold the wood. On these records already, vines are appearing. Up to twenty-five people were counted living in the Grands Bois de Lugny. Read more
