Still organic red wine from Marsannay, Burgundy, 14% ABV, produced by Jean Fournier. 100% Pinot Noir, 2022 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a family that has been present in Marsannay since the 17th century. Manual harvesting in small 15-kg crates with sorting in the cellar. Vinification using 66% whole bunches, moderate punching down and pumping over. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged in demi-muid, new oak, for 18 months. A Pinot Noir that expresses the elegance of the Burgundian terroir, with an intense and complex expression.
Awards
It was much later, in 1962, that Jean Fournier settled as a winegrower in his native village. Today, his son, Laurent, is at the head of an exploitation which covers 22,5 hectares on the vineyards of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. Read more
