Mastiha is a classic Greek liqueur with a strong balsamic taste, produced by distilling the resin of the Mastiha plant, a small evergreen typical of the Mediterranean maquis. Mastiha Classic is bottled with added sugar, as per tradition, which makes it a fresh liqueur and ideal as an after-meal drink.

Greek Distillation Company is a small private distillery founded by the Patrikopoulis brothers in 1995 on the island of Lesvos. Today the distillery produces one of the most famous brands of Mastiha: Mastic Tears. Under the name Mastic Tears the distillery produces two Mastihas: a Dry and a Classic. Mastiha is a classic Greek liqueur made from the resin of the Mastiha plant.
