| Production technique | The distillation of the Cabernet marc, dripping with wine, takes place in a state-of-the-art plant in order to preserve all the varietal aromas and fragrances intact. The still used is of the discontinuous, steel type, and inside it the marc is passed through a jet of steam, which carries the alcohol vapours with it. These are subsequently drawn into the distillation column, producing a distillate that originally has an alcohol content of 70 - 75 °C. |
