FranƧois de Nicolay, manager of the Chandon de Briailles family estate in Savigny-LĆØs-Beaune in the CĆ“te de Beaune, decided at the beginning of the 2000s to build a small "winemaker-bottler" trading house. "The culture in biology and even more in biodynamics has become for me an evidence, since the 90's", starting from the simple and logical idea that you can only make good wines with good grapes. With the Maison FranƧois de Nicolay, a small wine merchant, I decided to make wines without artifice, without additives, from organically grown or biodynamic grapes. Read more
