Description
Extra Brut Classic Method sparkling wine from Piedmont, produced by Damilano. Blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, 2019 vintage. A Classic Method that celebrates the tradition and excellence of the Damilano winery, a historic Barolo winery since 1890. The two bases are pressed and vinified separately. After a gentle pressing, only the free-run must is used, which is then fermented in second-passage oak barrels and, for a portion, in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Secondary fermentation in the bottle, where it spends 36 months on the lees. Fine and persistent perlage. Intense with hints of vanilla, which blend into a structured and enveloping palate, endowed with extraordinary freshness.
