Description
Extra Brut Classic Method Champagne, produced by Colin Champagne. 100% Chardonnay. 0.75L bottle. A Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs that celebrates the Champagne tradition, with a history dating back to 1829. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. Aged 18-30 months. The nose initially explodes with notes of ripe wheat and fresh hay, before taking you on a more floral journey with aromas of anise, bergamot, and green tea. The aroma is rich and dense, with soft, buttery notes, marzipan, and candied citrus. The savory character is noticeable on the palate with a hint of licorice. The wine's sharpness is evident with the citrus fruit emerging on the palate. The finish is of bitter orange and citrus zest, with a delicately woody and tannic sensation.
