From this winery
Ours is a family business, cultivating the land for generations; but just a few years ago passion moved us to dedicate ourselves to the cultivation of grapes and the production of wine.

Our vineyards are located in the upper Squaranto Valley in the hills north of Verona, part of the Valpolicella region near the Lessinia Regional Nature Park.

Origin The vineyards are located in the north-eastern part of the municipality of Verona
Climate Hilly area 300-500 m above sea level.
Soil composition The soil is clayey limestone with a consistent presence of rocks.
Harvest Grapes are harvested from the last ten days of September to the end of October. The best bunches are selected and harvested by hand, placed in small 5 kg crates and dried for about 3 months.
Wine making At the end of the drying period, the grapes have lost more than 50% of their initial weight; this dehydration is not aimed solely at sugar concentration, but at developing their aromatic and polyphenolic potential. Once the drying process is complete, the grapes are pressed and fermented in steel wine vats at a controlled temperature for 2-3 weeks.
Aging Subsequently, the wine produced is aged in oak barrels for 18 months and then bottled.
