From this winery
Alexandre Grimée, just 18 years old, decides that he will make a Champagne from that little less than an hectare he had borrowed from his family. The vineyard is in Bonneil, just a few rows of a south-facing plot called Sous Les Trous, planted in 1973, of only Pinot Meunier.
In the winery Alexandre has chosen to vinify and refine in steel in order to make the micro identity of that much guarded grape speak for itself, preserving the absolute freshness that emerges clearly from the subsoil.
