The Plozza Wine Group unites four companies that are rich in tradition and have the appropriate sectoral expertise: in their own winemaking or in the trade of products from all regions of the world. In addition to Plozza Wines, the Plozza Wine Groupe consists of Cottinelli Weinbau Malans, Kaufmann Weine Davos and Romedi Weine Madulain.
The concentration of optimised knowledge in the group allows the company to benefit. Similarly, a considerable profit is guaranteed for our customers.
In 2009, we decided to further expand our product range. What we felt was missing was an elegant Italian sparkling wine: a "Franciacorta".
The Franciacorta region is a wine-growing area near Lake Iseo where, since the 1960s, a sparkling wine has been produced using the classic method, which has always been used for Champagne. In the meantime, Franciacorta has become synonymous with quality sparkling wine and is a brand of absolute value. Since 1995, it has enjoyed DOCG status.
After intensive research and careful analysis, we acquired a winery in Ome that produces Franciacorta. Since 2010 we have been producing, under the brand name "Plozza Franciacorta", a lively "Brut", a refined "Satèn", an elegant "Rosé" and the latest, the precious "Millesimato Pas Dosé".
