Description
In the Gin Sale produced by the Bianchi company, the lower alcohol content is enhanced by the savoury character of sea salt. This creates a new composition that brings together two products distant from each other in history and flavour, yet united by quality and research. The result is a pleasant, well‑balanced spirit which, when enjoyed responsibly, aligns with principles that support overall well‑being.

| Story | William of Orange issued statutes encouraging the distillation of alcoholic beverages, and the volume of gin produced soon surpassed that of beer. British distilleries began crafting their own version of "Genever", shortening the name to "Gin" and giving life to a medicinal elixir that eventually evolved into what we know and love today: the Gin & Tonic. Our Gin Sale is a pure juniper distillate, tailor‑made like a bespoke garment, to which we add a touch of sea salt. The production of this salt—once called "white gold" for its rarity, value and importance—grew so significantly over the centuries that it led to the creation of an entire fleet of boats known as schifazzi. The name likely derives from the Sicilian term schifo, meaning "boat", with schifazzo referring to the larger vessels. |
| Production technique | The spirit is obtained by distilling agricultural alcohol after macerating juniper berries in a hydroalcoholic solution. |
| Allergens | Contains sulphites |
