Description
Aromatic still white wine from Alsace, 13% ABV, produced by Rolly Gassmann. 100% Gewurztraminer Aromatico, 2019 vintage. A Gewurztraminer that embodies the essence of the Alsatian terroir, with its aromatic complexity and ability to evolve over time. Rolly Gassmann is based in the small village of Rorschwirhr, in the northernmost part of the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace. The property, covering approximately 50 hectares of vineyards, divided between the municipalities of Rorschwirhr and Bergheim, allows for a unique variety of soils: clay, sand, limestone, and granite alternate in this area, creating wines with strong and decisive character. A bouquet with aromas of exotic fruit, accompanied by mineral and spicy notes. Golden yellow. On the palate, the wine is persistent and full-bodied.

The winery is now run by Marie-Thérèse, Louis and their son Pierre Gassmann. The production is about 300,000 bottles per year, only 20% of which are destined for export outside France. The wines are powerful, precise, played on the difficult ridge of a vibrant acidity and balanced sweetness: Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer by Rolly-Gassmann give pure enjoyment especially to those who have the patience to wait for the legendary ability to evolve in the bottle.
