Description
Still organic white wine from Veneto, 13% ABV, produced by Pra Graziano. 70% Garganega, 30% Trebbiano di Soave. 2022 vintage. A Soave Classico that expresses the minerality of Monte Grande, the company's cru, through careful vinification that respects the terroir. Harvested with Trebbiano in mid-September. The vines are cut from the Garganega vines during the first waning moon of September. The grapes are left to dry on the vine for approximately one month. Harvest in mid-October. Destemming, soft pressing, fermentation temperature at 18°C, fermentation in large 30-hectoliter Allier oak barrels. Aged in large 30-hectoliter Allier oak barrels for 10 months. The mineral power released by this cru is a note of great elegance. A remarkable complexity of ripe tropical fruit and yellow citrus fruits on the nose. A clear savouriness and freshness on the palate with a long finish of sweet almond and vanilla.

"I admire wine, I respect it, and try to bring out what is already written in the soil it is born and grows in. For me, this interpretation of wine was part of a long road, along which my point of reference was the modern sense of a vine grower: the person who oversees and manages each step of the wine, from its production to its transformation, and finally to its sale."
