Marco took the reins of the family vineyards in Treiso (CN) a few years ago, dedicating his winery to his grandfather, Guido Baldissero.

Before him, the grapes produced had always been sold to important names, while since he joined the company, the winemaking of the grapes started on his own. Out of friendship with Marcello Brunetti, after Marcello saw the release of a couple of vintages of his Langhe Rosso made from a portion of a vineyard planted with Syrah, the idea of this collaboration was born, to try winemaking in a different way.

Marco's Syrah-based Langhe Rosso is a modern wine, very successful in the area for its particular taste and contemporary approach. Marcello's wine, on the other hand, is a combination of his passion for old-fashioned wines, the Langa territory, and this grape variety he loves.

Harvest By hand, on the morning of the 26th of September 2020.
Wine making Light crushing took place the following day, softly with the feet. This left the bunch whole with its stalks. After two punching-downs a day without pumping over, the wine was racked off on the 14th of October 2020. Afterwards, without the aid of pumps, entirely by gravity, it was put into a 225-litre barrique used for ageing.
Aging The wine was bottled by gravity on 9 July 2022 without any further intervention and the addition of oenological products or sulphites. No filtration or clarification is carried out.
Allergens Contains sulphites
