Donāt worry, you wonāt miss it. No matter what direction youāre coming from, Neumagen-Dhron, Germanyās oldest wine village, is well-signposted. Simply pass by the Roman wine ship from the 3rd century, drive by the WWI-memorial and head straight to the parish church build with typical Mosel slate.
When coming from the south, follow the stream. Officially, the Dhron is a āright sidestream of the Moselā but letās be honest, it most definitely has more of a stream character even though itās collecting various other streams that have their source in the highest point in Rhineland-Palatinate: The HunsrĆ¼ck in the south. On top of rays of sunshine, the HunsrĆ¼ck brings heaps of fresh air to our side valley ā but letās focus on that later. Read more
