Description
Still white wine from Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 13.5% ABV, produced by Venica. 100% Friulano/Sauvignon Vert. 2024 vintage. A wine that best expresses the characteristics of Friulano, with careful vinification that enhances its freshness and minerality. The grapes are macerated for 18-24 hours at a temperature of 11-12 degrees C in special containers, protected from oxygen with innovative systems that recycle their own fermentation carbon dioxide, in order to reduce the intake of antioxidants. Forty percent of the must ferments and ages on the lees for six months in large wooden barrels (20-27 hl), the remainder in steel tanks. The wine is then blended and bottled during the full moon between late March and April. Refined aroma, with predominantly fruity notes of apple, pear, white peach, and banana. Sunny yellow. It has the right flavour, great structure, perfect balance and splendid drinkability.
