Description
Still white wine from Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, produced by Venica, 12.5% ABV, 2024 vintage. A Ribolla Gialla that celebrates the history of the Venica family, winemakers since 1930. The destemmed grapes are macerated for 6-8 hours at 8 degrees C in special containers, protected from oxygen with innovative systems to also reduce the intake of antioxidants. 50% of the must ferments and ages on the lees for 5 months in large barrels (27 HL), the rest in steel. Pleasant and persuasive bouquet. Reminiscent of forest, acacia, chestnut, and oak. Pale straw yellow color tending towards greenish reflections. Characteristic, dry, citrusy, with a medium alcohol content.
