Perfume It is a wine with a clean, fine, persistent bouquet of increasing intensity, with harmonious notes of wild field flowers, chamomile, broom, lemon peel, medlar and reindeer apple, which with ageing turn into hints of hay and dried officinal herbs. The uniqueness of this grape variety lies not only in its elegance, but also in the typical aroma of natural chewing gum. Calcareous and clayey sensations are also present.
Taste The palate is firm and at the same time gentle. The sip is lively and fresh, with rich savouriness and delicious floral and fruity hints. Consistent, structured and persistent, clean and balanced in terms of acidity and intensity of flavour. An elegant minerality also persists in the finish.
History Our Pinot Bianco vineyards are located within the DOC Collio territory. An elegant French grape variety from Alsace, for 150 years it has taken up permanent residence in the Friulian territory, finding the optimal climatic conditions to exalt all its qualities with discretion, without ever exaggerating. Difficult to manage, it loves cool areas, needs good light and requires a lot of care. A delicate variety, between the rows but also in the glass: Pinot Bianco conquers with its finesse, like a fresh caress in the mouth, and can therefore be considered among the most elegant white wines in the world.
Pairings A delicate wine but easy to combine with everything: fish appetizers, soups, white meat, eggs, not-spicy cheeses. To try with classic tortellini in broth.
