Description

What kind of wine it is

The Champagne Rosé Extra Brut Bord de Marne by Tristan Hyest is a wine with a clear structure, crafted according to the principles of the Traditional Method. It is born from a harmonious blend in which Chardonnay stands out, accompanied by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. It presents a pale pink colour, enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it reveals clear notes of red berries and delicate floral hints. On the palate, it offers a bold entry, with a fresh, taut and dry sip.

Where it comes from

The roots of this wine lie in the Marne Valley, specifically in Trélou-sur-Marne. The Tristan Hyest winery cultivates its vineyards following an organic and sustainable approach, aimed at protecting the integrity of the ecosystem. Its belonging to the prestigious Champagne region confirms its indissoluble bond with the terroir. The Maison's goal is to achieve a clean and vertical flavour profile, which is an authentic and sincere expression of its area of origin.

How it is produced

Production using the Traditional Method is based on a skilful blend designed to perfectly balance the structure. The choice of the Extra Brut version ensures minimal dosage, enhancing the natural freshness and dryness of the sip. Capable of evolving beautifully in the cellar for several years, it expresses its character best when served between 6 and 8 °C. At the table, its vibrant verve makes it an ideal companion for sushi and shellfish, fried fish and fine cured meats.

History and Curiosities

Originating from Trélou-sur-Marne, this refined Champagne by Tristan Hyest embodies the excellence of the traditional method. The cuvée reflects a deep commitment to organic and sustainable production, harmoniously blending the base wine from the 2014 vintage with precious reserves from 2013 to ensure a distinctive profile. Composed predominantly of Chardonnay, accompanied by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, this exquisite Rosé Extra Brut boasts a minimal dosage that enhances its expressive purity. An authentic label, capable of evolving beautifully in the cellar for up to ten years.

From this winery
The values that have been passed me are thanks to my father, who decided to learn the work of the vine and wine, I received all these in addition to my champagne heritage.

From his experience in different vineyards, he had an indispensable expertise and understanding of the desire to preserve this heritage, which prompted me to graduate from the School of Viticulture.

In 1999 I decided to acquire solid experience.

In 2001, I personally took over the vines and obtained replanting rights. Then, in 2003, with a small holding of 2.5 ha, I decided to get into the development of my own vintages, creating a champagne with a unique style...
