Description
Extra Brut Classic Method sparkling wine, produced by Travaglino, a historic Lombard winery since 1868. 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay. 0.75 L bottle, 2017 vintage. An Oltrepò Pavese Classic Method Riserva del Fondatore, a tribute to tradition and a passion for viticulture. The vineyards enjoy a privileged southern and southeast exposure, at an altitude of 250 to 300 meters above sea level, on predominantly brown-limestone and clay soil. Fermented in small, temperature-controlled steel tanks. Bottling: In late spring, the various fractions of the product will be assembled in carefully selected proportions, and the resulting wine will be bottled to create this prestigious Classic Method. Characteristic aroma, rich with pleasant hints of bread crust and exotic fruit. Fine and persistent perlage.
