Description
Still red wine from Tuscany IGT, 14% ABV, produced by Teruzzi & Puthod. Blend: 85% Sangiovese, 15% Petit Verdot, 0.75L bottle, 2018 vintage. A wine that celebrates Tuscan tradition, born from the passion of Enrico Teruzzi in 1974. Grapes are selected in the vineyard, destemmed, and fermented in temperature-controlled truncated cone-shaped tanks, followed by racking. Aged for 12-15 months in 5hl French oak tonneaux (10% new, the remainder 3-4th use), followed by 5 months of tank aging. The aroma is broad and persistent, with hints of red fruit perfectly integrated with the woody notes of the wood. Intense, brilliant ruby red color. The flavor is full-bodied and intense, with an excellent balance between sweetness and structure.
