Description
Still red Chianti Classico DOCG, 14% vol, produced by Tenuta Perano - Frescobaldi. 100% Sangiovese, a wine that expresses the elegance and complexity of Tuscan Sangiovese. 0.75 l bottle, 2022 vintage. Tenuta Perano is located in the heart of Chianti Classico in the municipality of Gaiole, in an exceptional soil and climate for its uniqueness and quality. The vineyards are located 500 meters above sea level, almost the limit for red varietals, especially for Sangiovese, which ripens late. Aged 24 months in barrique and stainless steel. On the nose, floral aromas are complemented by fruity notes of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry. Balsamic notes of eucalyptus and thyme, mineral notes of graphite, and spicy notes of pink peppercorn follow. Bright purple color. The tannic texture is typical of Chianti Classico, caressing the palate, leaving it clean and fresh. Persistent and intense even in the finish, with hints of walnut husk.
