Description
A wine that expresses the complexity of the Bolgheri terroir and does so with great elegance, while maintaining a fine, rich and savoury drinkability. The wine - 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc - matures for about 24 months in large 60 hl French oak barrels that are not toasted. It has received important international awards, such as 94 points Wine Advocate and 94 points Wine Spectator.

Climate | The winter was mild and rainy, with a March with temperatures even close to 0°C, which, however, did not bring frost. Spring was warm, with a fair amount of rain, ensuring regular vegetative development. The summer was hot and dry. Temperatures dropped around the end of August, only to rise again towards the middle of September. It was a fairly balanced year, but one in which the summer heat peaks had to be managed well. |
