Description
Still red Barbera d'Alba DOC, 14.5% ABV, produced by Prunotto. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A wine that embodies Piedmontese tradition, with grapes grown in marly, calcareous soils. Maceration for approximately 7-8 days at 29°C and malolactic fermentation completed before winter give the wine structure and complexity. Aged for approximately 12 months, followed by 4 months in bottle in the Prunotto cellars. The aroma is expansive, reminiscent of ripe black fruit and spices, while the color is purplish red with dark ruby reflections. On the palate, it is full-bodied and harmonious, perfect for pairing with Piedmontese cuisine.
