Description
This noble vine is cultivated on just a few hectares in the province of Messina, facing the sea and is of historical importance. La Baronia on Capo Milazzo is a spectacular vineyard surrounded by the sea, ancient olive trees, and views of the Aeolian islands. A marine red wine with aromas of Mediterranean land, myrtle and garrigue. Fondazione Barone Lucifero, which owns the estate, uses part of the proceeds for socio-cultural and recreational activities for children in the Milazzo area.

Wine making | The grapes are gathered by hand into crates and, as soon as they arrive at the winery, pass to the sorting table for selection, then for destemming and crushing. They ferment in stainless steel and remain on the skins for 7 days at 25°C with continuous mixing. Racking with soft pressing follows, and the wine thus obtained carries out its malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. |
