Description
A still white Riserva from the heart of Abruzzo, produced by Masciarelli. A Trebbiano Riserva that embodies the winery's excellence, with a 2023 vintage that promises great balance and harmony. The vanilla-woody notes, though clearly perceptible at this young age, never overwhelm the nose, but shape a broad array of aromas embroidered with broom, mugwort, sweet citrus, kumquat, gocciadoro plum, winter melon, fresh hazelnut, turmeric, white pepper, and honey-flavored biscuits. A golden robe and a flourish of glycerine arches. The palate unfolds full, fresh, and elegant, almost creamy, with perfectly balanced components, punctuated by iodine-rich mineral notes, a reflection of the unique geology of its terroirs: the Chieti hills on the slopes of the Maiella and the Bucchianico ravines.

In the constant and renewed work for innovation, but with respect for the environment and tradition, Masciarelli inaugurated, after a long restoration, Castello di Semivicoli, a seventeenth-century baronial mansion, which is now a Relais de Charme in the vineyards, a driving force of wine tourism in the area.
