Description
Cascina Lo Zoccolaio precisely follows the process of tradition. In the vineyard the grapes are treated with love and respect across every single phase of production, from the vineyards to the cellar. The guidelines of our approach involve no herbicides, we plant different herbs between the rows with green manuring, respecting the rhythms of nature. The harvest is carried out rigorously by hand, selecting only the best grapes with a lower yield to obtain better quality. This Barbera d'Alba Superiore comes from its own vineyards located in Barolo and Monforte d'Alba. After the harvest, done strictly by hand as with tradition, only the best grapes are selected according to the harvest. Thanks to a long ageing in barrique, this Barbera is of the highest quality and longevity . A special bottle, very heavy with remnants of bottles of the past which enhances their prestige.
