La Vrille is the name Hervé Daniel Deguillame has chosen for his company. In Italian it is the tendril, small, discreet, but decidedly tenacious and essential for the vine's vegetative path, like him for his company. La Vrille is located along the Via Francigena in the commune of Verrayes at 670 metres above sea level, with views of the Avic and Emilius mountains. Two and a half hectares of vineyards, most of which are naturally amphitheatrically laid out, with excellent exposure in a xerothermal zone where numerous plants of the Mediterranean basin grow spontaneously, such as the excellent thyme, very evident in the Chambave Muscat both in the dry and in the passita versions. But Vrille is not only wine, there are chickens, sheep, geese, rabbits, a vegetable garden and an orchard, as well as the excellent cuisine of Luciana at zero kilometre. Read more
