Description
Still white wine Terre Siciliane IGT, 13% ABV, produced by Hauner, a winery founded in 1968 in Santa Marina di Salina. Blend: 90% Malvasia, 10% Ansonica/Inzolia. 0.75L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine born from the passion of Carlo Hauner, a native of Brescia who moved to the Aeolian Islands, and the collaboration of his son Carlo Junior. The vineyards have an average slope of 20 to 35% and an altitude of 50 to 100 meters above sea level. Aged in stainless steel for 6 months, followed by a further 3 months in bottle. Pleasant and inviting aromas of white flowers, gooseberry, apple, citron, and elderberry lead the way to hints of iodine and a smoky minerality. Intense straw yellow color with golden-green reflections. Ample and vertical, lively with savory yet also sunny, softened by fruity and citrus notes. Saline persistence.
