Description
A still red from the Golan Heights in Israel, 14% ABV, produced by Golan Heights Winery. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, 2023 vintage. A wine born in a fascinating and little-known region, where viticulture blends with history and tradition. Fruity notes of raspberry and black cherry complement hints of spice and fresh herbs. Full-bodied with a pleasant complexity, Yarden Mount Hermon Red is a highly satisfying and drinkable wine. A red that stands out for its elegance and unique character.

Precisely in keeping with tradition, this winery is one of the few to produce exclusively kosher wines, i.e. wines authorised by rabbis and, therefore, drinkable by Orthodox Jews.
The vineyards are located on an area extending from the Sea of Galilee's shores to Mount Hermon's foot at an altitude of between four hundred and one thousand two hundred metres.
The volcanic, basalt-rich soil allows for excellent soil drainage and the relatively temperate climate, given the immediate vicinity of Mount Hermon, is ideal for growing vines. Thanks to the richness and uniqueness of this terroir, the wines produced in this region have a fine structure and lend themselves to ageing. Read more
