Description

This is one of the so-called 'international' red grape varieties. Today, this vine, which is widespread throughout the world, is cultivated in many regions of Italy. Sicily has probably been able to best interpret the Syrah grape variety, of which it is today, in terms of quality, one of the best in the world.

Its aroma leads us to imagine berries (blackberries) and violet flowers.

Colore

Color

Colour is one of its main virtues, it is intense and deep, a red with shades tending towards dark purple.

Gusto

Taste

In the mouth, the flavour is that of a robust, well-structured wine; the aroma is intense and fruity with hints of small black fruits and spices, in particular black pepper. It has a good structure and persistence, it is soft and quite fresh with a medium tannicity.

On a small hill in the town of Marsala, in the western part of Sicily, stands our winery. An entrepreneurial adventure started in 2005 by father Bruno, oenologist, and mother Mariella. A shared family dream, which immediately captured the curiosity of us children: Marco, Sergio and Federica.

Matured cheeses and meat, with pasta with tomato sauce it is perfect, excellent with game meat such as venison or wild boar and all baked red meat in general, as well as with meat stews. We can say that medium strong flavours and Syrah are luxurious allies.
