Description
Still rosé from the heart of Abruzzo, 12.5% ABV, produced by Fantini. Vintage 2024. A Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo that embodies the freshness and vivacity of Montepulciano, carefully vinified to enhance its characteristics. The vineyards are located around the towns of Ortona on the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo. A mix of clay and limestone soils. Harvest in early October. Destemming and soft pressing. Brief maceration on the skins (approximately 6 hours). Fermentation off the skins for 15 days at 12°C. Bright cherry pink in color. The aroma is intense, persistent, and fruity, with hints of small red fruits (strawberry) that precede a balanced, medium-bodied palate. A wine best enjoyed young, perfect with light, fresh dishes.
