All in all, this fresh wine gives great pleasure both as an aperitif and with elaborate dishes. Goes well with fine, tender dishes: pan-fried river fish pan-fried river fish, sea fish in a white sauce, hot shellfish, fine poultry in a creamy sauce (such as a blanquette) and frogs' legs. It can also be drunk as an aperitif. Hard cheeses: Comté, Beaufort, Emmental, etc.

Origin The village of Rully is situated in the Côte Chalonnaise to the north-west of Chalon-sur-Saône
Soil composition The clay-limestone subsoil is covered with very stony soil.
Harvest Mechanical harvesting.
Wine making Traditional vinification. The grapes are pressed in pneumatic presses as soon as they arrive in the winery. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in oak barrels, 20% of which are new.
Aging The wine is then matured for a further 12 months in oak barrels with regular stirring of the lees to add depth and complexity.
