Still red from Burgundy, France, 100% Pinot Noir, produced by Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot. Vintage 2017. A wine that embodies the winemaking tradition of a family with roots in the 17th century. Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot was founded in 1964 by the union of two prominent families in the world of Burgundy viticulture. The nose is rich with aromas of red fruits, accompanied by hints of undergrowth that evoke the complexity of the terroir. Intense ruby red color. On the palate, the wine is elegant, structured, and savory, with a persistence that invites contemplation.

The winery is located in Vosne-Romanèe and includes some of the most prestigious vineyards of Burgundy, with about 11 hectares of its own vineyards, including Grand Cru, Premier Cru and Village. In the vineyard work it is done using traditional methods and respectful towards the environment and plants, favoring low yields and harvests made exclusively in the maximum maturity of the grapes stage.
In the handicraft and traditional cellar of the Domaine, Yves Confuron and his brother Jean-Pierre, the owners and winemakers, not diraspano grapes and practice a long maceration, a few pressing and for aging that will take 18 to 24 months, using wood, primarily 2nd and 3rd passage. The wines are not filtered and end the aging in bottle.
