Description
Franciacorta Blanc de Blancs brut, produced by Derbusco Cives, a winery founded in the heart of Erbusco, the moral capital of Franciacorta. 0.75 l bottle. A Franciacorta made from Chardonnay grapes, vinified exclusively in stainless steel. After aging on the lees for at least 36 months, it undergoes extensive bottle aging, which imparts, in addition to the customary freshness, a pleasantly evolved note and a substantial structure. The nose immediately reveals great florality and complex citrus notes, bergamot, cedar, acacia blossom, and white pepper. A luminous straw yellow color with delicate green hues. On the palate, it expresses great tension, exuberant freshness, and excellent salinity; the finish is long and displays chalky, vibrant sensations.

The building of the cellar was finished in March 2013. The architectural style is modern with a pentagonal emerging central body and a single pitched roof built in exposed bleached wood. The pentagon shape was chosen to represent the five founding partners of the winery. Alongside the pentagon there stand two wings of the building with a green roof garden. The outer walls are covered in natural cork. In the pentagonal central body, on the raised floor, there is a tasting room with wide windows and a terrace, overlooking the vineyards. On the ground and basement floors are the processing rooms of the winery. Read more
