Description
Classic method sparkling rosé brut from Trentino, 12.5% ABV, produced by Cesarini Sforza. 100% Pinot Noir. 0.75 l bottle, 2017 vintage. A Trento DOC that celebrates the Trentino sparkling wine tradition, with an elegance and complexity that make it unique. The Cesarini Sforza company, founded in 1974, maintains the three pillars on which the finest winemaking culture is based: tradition, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence. Manual harvest in the first ten days of September. Soft pressing of whole grapes, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged on the lees for approximately 8 months, secondary fermentation in the bottle, minimum 60 months on the lees. Delicate antique rosé. On the nose, the initial sensations are of freshly picked blackberries and blueberries, with a hint of strawberry on the finish. On the palate, it is rich and silky with notes of rose hips, ripe cherry, and marzipan. The Pinot Noir gives a rich flavour in harmony with the savoury and fresh structure.
