Description
Still red Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, 13% ABV, produced by Castrum Roche. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75L bottle, 2024 vintage. A Nebbiolo that expresses the youth and freshness of Piedmont, crafted by an emerging producer. This small winery was founded in 2017 as Azienda Agricola Costamagna Isacco, but the first vineyard was planted in 2014, on land reclaimed from its grandparents. Mallow flowers and woody notes precede crisp cherry, light balsamic nuances, peppercorns, and cinchona. A clear ruby color verging on garnet. On the palate, it is enveloping, with freshness and savory flavors complemented by vigorous tannins that enhance the persistent finish.
