Description
Still red wine from Lazio, 14% ABV, produced by Casale del Giglio. 100% Petit Verdot, a varietal that best expresses the characteristics of the terroir. 2023 vintage. Casale del Giglio, founded in 1967, has contributed to the development of the Agro Pontino, a region rich in viticultural potential. Vinification involves the use of the submerged cap to extract the sweetest tannins and punching down to achieve optimal color extraction. Aged in barriques for 8-12 months and then in bottle for 6 months. Ruby-purple color. Intense and persistent aromas of small red fruits, cherry, and vegetal notes, such as myrtle and juniper. Lovely roundness on the palate, thanks to soft and velvety tannins, with an elegant structure. Finish with notes of white pepper and spice.
