Description
Still red wine from Tuscany IGT, Cabernet Sauvignon Oltresogno, 14% ABV, 2023 vintage, produced by Campo alle Comete. A wine born in the heart of Bolgheri, from a winery that has made poetry and imagination its signature style. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in steel tanks for approximately three weeks. Aged half in stainless steel and the other half for approximately six months in French oak barriques and tonneaux. It features fruity and spicy notes typical of Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense and brilliant ruby red color. The combination of ripe, silky tannins and savory freshness makes this wine very balanced and enjoyable.

The name Campo to Comets comes from a historical name of the area where the company is based, that "disappeared" over time.
The first signtature wine from Campo alle Comete is 'Stupore', a Bolgheri DOC, from 2015's harvest. The name was chosen to reflect tradition and experience but also poetry and imagination and to amaze, with memorable flavours and tastes.
Campo alle Comete Rosastella 2021 was awarded 92 points by Wine Enthusiast, and is also among the six rosés of the year. Read more
