Description
What kind of wine it is
Barolo Falletto Vigna Le Rocche Riserva by Bruno Giacosa is a fine red wine from Piedmont made from Nebbiolo grapes. It displays a garnet red colour and a broad, complex, and elegant bouquet, enriched with notes of rose, ripe fruit, truffle, and spices. On the palate, it offers a dry, full, and generous sip, supported by a harmonious and velvety structure. To best appreciate every nuance, it is recommended to decant for about an hour before serving.
Where it comes from
This wine is born in the heart of Piedmont, with vineyards located among the prestigious municipalities of Serralunga d’Alba, La Morra, and Barbaresco, while ageing takes place in the historic cellars of Neive. The production of Barolo Riserva follows a strict selection process: Bruno Giacosa reserves this title exclusively for grapes harvested in years of extraordinary quality, ensuring a consistently high and prestigious profile.
How it is produced
The production process involves careful and meticulous vinification. The wine matures in large oak barrels, followed by a period of ageing in the cellar to stabilise its significant structure. Thanks to this care, the wine boasts a longevity that can exceed twenty-five years. Ideally served at a temperature of 18-20 °C, it pairs perfectly with game and red meats, structured first courses, fine cured meats, and long-aged cheeses.
