Description

Still organic red, Toscana IGT, 14.5% ABV, produced by Brancaia. Blend: 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Petit Verdot, 20% Cabernet Franc. 2021 vintage. A wine of great structure, freshness, and elegance, with a perfect balance between maturity and refinement. Aged for 18 months in French barriques, half new and half used, and for at least one year in bottle. A refined and extremely intense nose with hints of blackberry and cassis, sweet violet, and chervil, a dense minerality, touches of face powder, a balsamic finish, and hints of noble vegetal sensations. Ruby color with violet reflections. On the palate, it is dynamic, enveloping, and warm, with elegant tannins and a very long aromatic finish of cinnamon. Awarded 96/100 by James Suckling, 94/100 by Robert Parker and Vinous.
