The terroir is that of the Devon Valley, in particular the areas of Hutton (characterised by granite-rich soil, reddish-brown in colour due to the presence of iron oxide hydrate) and Clovelly (soil similar to that of Hutton but more clayey).
This area is well known for the quality of its red wines produced from the same varietals as the winery: Pinotage, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The wines are produced with great care and passion, with the assistance of a reliable and dedicated staff.
Both organic and biodynamic farming elements are used, preferring organic products and trying to minimise chemical products as much as possible, making the most of what nature has to offer. Read more
