Klaus Lentsch

Bronzolo, a famous place for red porphyry, saw the birth of Lentsch's agricultural activity in 1882.

While the brothers devoted themselves to the hotel and the property inn, the youngest Hartmann became passionate about viticulture and began producing quality wines, initially depending on the consumption of family exercises. His three sons Hartmann Jr, artist's spirit, painter and archaeologist, Rupert, art patron and renowned physician, and modern entrepreneur Norbert, shared a passion for wines and illuminated production with their sophisticated culture.

Currently, the company is followed by niece Klaus, a worthy heir and interpreter of family traditions. The estate extends for 35 hectares, of which 12.5 to a specialized vineyard, where the traditional pergola leaves the field to the Guyot system, best suited to produce high quality grapes. The porous and layered red soil (clay, sand and porphydic debris) has a good aeration and it returns the heat accumulated during the day in the cool nights, creating an unmatched microclimate.

Roses of great structure, among which the famous Palestine and refined whites are the fruit of loving care in vintage, winemaking and aging, as well as a balanced encounter between modern technique and ancient spirit. Klaus Lentsch is also a leader in this small wine-making company, located in Campodazzo in Valle Isarco.

There are three vineyards in spectacular position between 300 and 600 m altitude, which give rise to as many "cru". Eichberg for Veltliner, Fuchsahn for Gewurztramniner and Bachgart for Pinot Noir.
