Italicus

Rosolio traces its origins to the Latin "ros olis", meaning "dew of the sun": a name that evokes the moment when herbs and botanicals were traditionally gathered at dawn, when the morning dew enhanced their aromatic properties. Before the rise of vermouth, bitters, and amari, Rosolio was Italy’s quintessential aperitif. It was the preferred drink of the House of Savoy and was often served as the official "court aperitif".

Giuseppe Gallo, founder and creator, drew inspiration from his childhood memories and the fragrances of the Amalfi Coast. His desire to unite these flavours with his passion for Italian art, poetry, and history gave life to a product that aspires to embody the very best of Made in Italy in liquid form: a tribute to tradition, reinterpreted with contemporary sensibility.
