Fondo San Giuseppe

Fondo San Giuseppe is located in Brisighella, in the Romagna Apennines, 400 metres above sea level in the Valpiana sub-area: a plateau facing north completely surrounded by woodland and rich in biodiversity. The soil is a clay and limestone mud with stony marl, and is rich in organic substances.

The farm has five hectares of vineyards and eleven hectares of woodland. The woodland is indispensable for the wellbeing of the agricultural and environmental system. The presence of the woodland that surrounds the vineyards gives excellent biodiversity and abundant oxygen production which makes the air healthier, more vital and less polluted.
