As soon as it is poured, the aromas of red fruit such as redcurrant, crushed strawberry and raspberry are fully expressed. Then the more cooked aromas take over, giving an impression of vinosity and character. These include apricot jam, Russian leather and plum tart.

The colour is brilliant. It is a dense pink with coppery tints. The visual impression suggests a complex, powerful Champagne.

The domaine Selosse Pajon is managed by Jerome Selosse and his wife, Corinne Selosse Pajon.

Jerome is the great-grandson of Jacques Selosse, father of Anselme Selosse. At the beginning of his career, Jerome worked with Anselme Selosse for 2 years, from 90 to 92.

Having inherited the vineyards from his common great-grandfather, Mariuss Selosse, many of Jerome's Avize vineyards are next to those of Anselme. Read more
